# Preview a Job from a template

This preview requires template Job planning to be enabled in your environment.
A preview does not start a Job or reserve capacity. Template-backed Job creation
remains unavailable.

Use an immutable TemplateRelease from your project. Send a request to
`POST /v1/jobs?dry_run=true` with your project ID and these `spec` fields:

* `template_release_id`: the published release UUID.
* `template_digest`: the exact published release digest.

The plan includes the release identity, signed Job requirements, selected offer
and current price. The release must belong to your organization and project.
Its signing key must remain trusted and valid. Mutable image references and
plaintext secrets are rejected. The signed Job must select one pinned image and
one custom-container profile with a nonempty command.

You can narrow placement by provider or region. You cannot replace the template's
signed workload fields, change its GPU requirements, or enable spot capacity.
The selected offer must provide enough CPU, memory, disk and GPU capacity. A
missing capacity value or a price above the signed hourly limit prevents the
preview. A preview does not guarantee that capacity will remain available.

No Job, operation or quota reservation is created by this request. Do not remove
`dry_run=true` to start the template: that request remains unavailable. Template
preview for other workload surfaces also remains unavailable.
